Courtyard Miami Dadeland Hotel - Glenvar Heights

The location was great, with a supermarket and small restaurants nearby. I loved the nice room and lobby. The gym was fine. It was also close to a mall and a metro station.

Truth in advertising: The "breakfast included" was a sham -- nowhere as good or adequate as at Hampton Inns (for example). Choice of one beverage - juice or coffee! Choice of two other unappetizing things -- bun and small cup of mixed fruit/yoghurt. Not even a continental breakfast, that!

I stayed in the King Room with Sofa Bed. The room was clean and decently sized, which I appreciated. But the sofa had a bad smell that really needed some airing out. The bed was comfy but had one of those weird thermostats, made it tough to sleep comfortably. Not a bad room, but could use some tweaks.

Well located for Dadeland Mall, slight hiccup with the Airport Shuttle but quickly resolved with no drama. Nice, helpful staff.

There was an extra cost for parking the car but just 12 bucks

The absolute best thing about this hotel was the staff. They were very cute and accommodating. The staff was friendly and professional. Every person I interacted with was pleasant. I also enjoyed the bar right across the street, perfect for winding down after a long day.

It wasn't cheap but still acceptable.

Publix next door and proximity to things Value value value!

I decided to give Courtyard a shot while I was in Miami for an extended stay and found some highlights. The lobby felt bright and cute. Staff interactions stood out as friendly. They genuinely aimed to help. I liked that there was a Starbucks in the lobby where I grabbed coffee each morning. The room layout was interesting, with a separate living area, which gave us some extra space to relax. The bed was comfortable. Location-wise, being near Dadeland Mall made it easy to shop and eat out. The parking was a major downside. Valet was mandatory, costing $25 a night, which was like a hidden fee. I also found the noise level in my room could be an issue, particularly with street sounds creeping in at night. Housekeeping could use more attention, as I noticed some areas weren't as clean as I'd hoped, and there wasn't a microwave in the room, a hassle.

In and out quickly for an over nite stay

No place for public parking and the cost of overnite parking. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

They didn't have my reservation from Booked.net So they did give me a room for $3 more

The King Room was spacious and well-maintained, helping to facilitate a productive environment. I appreciated the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, which allowed me to easily handle work tasks. The location was ideal, with quick access to local dining and shopping options.

The parking fee was a bit steep.

Very good located in front of a Publix, near to the Dadeland South Station and walking distance to Dadeland Mall. The staff is very nice.

The key of the room lost configuration daily. The bed could be more confortable.

The room was well-appointed and spacious with a sitting area, a writing desk and iron/ironing board.
